Item Damage Boosts in Adventures

wow, 15 pageviews yesterday!! that's pretty good. (not even being sarcastic) they're probably all mine though. Oh well I like using this blog as a reference guide for myself

Okay so, I decided to do the Battle for the Beacon adventure today. While furiously clawing at the pipe things (how does that even work) I remembered that certain items do more damage than others. 

After a couple long and tedious hours, I compiled a list of quite a few of the items and their damage. 

This list is not complete (I know for a fact that dragon gloves and golden gloves do damage), so you should probably experiment for yourself if you really want to.

The List:

No items equipped: 10 damage

Head Items

Gazelle horns: 14

Rare gazelle horns: 16

Rhino helmet: 16

Antlers: 16

Neck Items:

Short Spiked Collar: 16

Long Spiked Collar: 17

Back Items

Pirate Sword: 25

Samurai Sword: 41

Nunchucks: 42

Feet Items

Short Spiked Wristband: 15

Long Spiked Wristband: 16

Silver Glove: 25

Spirit Gauntlets: 29

Phantom Gauntlets: 29

Phoenix Gauntlets: 29

Wind Gauntlets: 30

Lava Glove: 31

Ice Gauntlets: 32

The NM Gold Gauntlets: 33

Legendary Glove: 41

Rainbow Gauntlets: 42

C-C-C-Combos! im so lame

If you combine items from the different sections, then it will actually increase your overall damage. 

For example:

Long Spiked Collar + Long Spiked Wrist= 23 damage

Long Collar + Short Wrist= 22

It is worth noting that if you wear a complete set of armor (like ice, phoenix, etc.) it will not increase your damage. The gauntlets are the only things that matter. The rest is just purdy

By combining items, you also have a chance to make a critical shot. This means that your normal damage is tripled for one strike. When this happens. the word "Fierce!" will appear. 

Examples:

Legendary Glove + Samurai Sword= 41 ... x3= 123 damage!

Short Collar + Short Wrist + Gazelle Horns= 25 x3 = 75 Critical

Anyway, that's all I've got for right now. I hope this helped you slightly. :)))

Hey everyone! Today's new Rare Item Monday item is the rare baseball cap, sold for 950 gems at Jam Mart Clothing. Unfortunately, it is members only. Make sure to pick one or two up before the day is over!

Tall Shelf

Today there is a new item in Jam Mart Furniture-- The Tall Shelf!

They are members only, 350 gems, and come in lots of different colors! There's a good chance that more styles of shelves will be out soon, too.

Return of the Phantoms Prizes

Since the adventures are no longer in BETA stage, then the prizes have changed for Return of the Phantoms. Here are the new prizes! They are all in order, so if you choose the first gft, for example, you get the first thing listed here.

The first prize that you can choose is 500 gems! :D Adventures are great item and gem earners.

 The second one you can choose is a bunny fence!

 The third one you can choose is a bunny statue.

The fourth is a stone circle thing

And finally, the last prize you can get is a wheelbarrow!

Silver Ring

Sorry for the late post. I woke up at 2 PM today, so... yeah.

Anyway, today's item is the silver ring, sold at Epic Wonders for 1.5k! It's really cool looking, and is available for non members!

Also, I am now done with two locations in my Journey Book guide. I'll be working on more as soon as I post this, so stay tuned!

New Adventure and More!

Hey Jammers! First of all, sorry for not posting updates for the last two days. I've been busy with RL stuff, so I didn't have much time. Second of all, a BUNCH of new stuff is here!!!

These are from the past two days- Pawprint Vases from the Jam Mart Furniture!

A New Adventure has arrived! It's a lot more challenging than the older one, and is tons of fun! There are still a few kinks to work out, like weird glitches with slides (yes there are slides), but it's still worth playing! I will get into this adventure later in the post :) 

 Also, the Return of the Phantoms adventure is now available for non members!  Also, AJ has made the locations of keys random. I wonder why? Probably to make it more difficult. There is also a new reward(s) for it, like a bunny statue!

 Wow! We've killed defeated more than 7 million phantoms within the last month?! That's... great!

 Cosmo has discovered a new land! (I thought it was Liza who did that) I wonder what it will be! I suspect that it will be tone of the land outlined in red:

And finally in the news, there is going to be a mobile app for AJ! It's called Tunnel Town, and comes out on July 18. It's free, so be sure to get it if you have an iPod, iPad, or iPhone!

Lots of items are on clearance now!

 At the Treetop Gardens in Serepia Forest, 3 plants are on clearance! Make sure to pick some up soon! (Especially tiny trees! They're awesome)

At the  Mystery Emporium at the Chamber of Knowledge, Pink Chests, Skinny Lamps and Floor Lamps are on clearance!

There is one new item as well.

At Sunken Treasures, pick up a sand palace!

Now, onto the adventures.

to get to the new one, go to the bridge right of the building 

 You'll see the portal! I won't do a guide for this, since alll the locations of items are random, but follow the instructions for it and you'll be fine.

 It's good to be a fox in this, since you can unlock a secret passage in the cave leading to a chest.

Look! I got an invisible pillow!

 Once you're done, choose one of the five prizes. The first is a crystal.

 The second is an alpha stone

 The third is an explorer crate

The fourth is 500 gems.

 And the fifth is a phantom pipe!
