March of the Phantoms- Lukeila's Animal Jam blog: I'm BAAAAaaaaAAAAACK!

Hello everyone! (Everyone=one person :P) I'm Octopus737, if you didn't already know that. I was on a one year hiatus, and now I'm back for more "pawsome" fun. Did you like my pun? Hahahahahahahaha I'm terrible. ANYWAY, this blog is pretty old. About one and a half years old. I used to have many, many posts here, but I deleted them all in a frenzy of rage caused by new changes to AJ. I think. Much of the information on this blog is outdated, but some of it is still fun to look at. c: I guess I will start my blog with the huge Fourth of July update, known on AJ as Freedom Day.

Freedom Day

Freedom Day was one of the first holidays Animal Jam celebrated. This holiday celebrates America's Fourth of July, and adds many different items.

Freedom Party

The Freedom Party icon looks like this:

When you get to the party, you will find that you are in an outdoor area with two shops, and fireworks crackling overhead!

The shop to the right looks like this:

At the shop, you will find many hats recolored red, white and blue!

The shop at the left of the party area sells fireworks so that you can have your own fireworks show!

The different symbols on the fireworks' canisters shows what the firework forms.

That's about it for this year's Freedom Day party! However, there are more Freedom Day items at the Summer Carnival!

Summer Carnival

The Summer Carnival is a celebration that lasts all summer. It is full of exclusive games and prizes found only at the carnival. Instead of earning gems from the games, you earn tickets. (And actually lose gems) Tickets can be used to buy prizes! First I'll go over the games.

Here is what the carnival area looks like:

CARNIVAL DARTS

This game is the first game you will see if you go to the right.

Use the arrow keys (<- and ->) to move the shooter, and spacebar to shoot. Try to shoot the phantoms and balloons. The game will end when you run out of darts.

The next game is Phantom Ball, which is to the right of Carnival Darts.

Click once to aim for a circle, and again to choose the throw's power. Getting the ball in a lit up ring multiplies your score!

CANDY CATCH

Candy Catch is my favorite game! It is located next to the clothes and furniture shops.

Try to catch the candies and avoid catching phantoms! Gold candies multiply your score, but cathing a phantom will set the multiplier back to x1

You can earn quite a lot of tickets from this! (It's the only game I'm good at :P)

WHACK A PHANTOM
Just like whack a mole, but with electric phantoms! :D Located next to the plushie shop.

try and hit the gold and black phantoms. Avoid the electric red ones or you'll get quite a "shock"! hahahahahahahahhahahaha ahem. I'll stop with the awful puns now.

COTTON CANDY MACHINE
Not actually a ticket earner, but still fun! First building you should see upon arriving at the carnival.

First, choose your cone.

Then, choose a flavor!

collect the sugar by moving your cursor over it.

After collecting all of it, you can either leave or choose another two flavors!

Now you have your very own cotton candy cone. Mine is a phantom because I used a special recipe. Choose black, then white, and then black again! It is the same recipe I used in the pictures above ^^
